Siem Reap Adventure 3 Days / 2 Nights

Travel on unpaved national road to Anlong Veng. Unpaved new road continues all the way to base of Preah Vihear. Steep incline to Preah Vihear Mountain and a lesser one to the Dangrek escarpment. Road bumpy to Anlong Veng. For those of you that are short on time, this tour offers a medium challenge road and two excellent destinations. Day 1: Siem Reap - Anlong Veng ( B / L / D )
Following a transfer from your hotel to HC base camp and a brief of the tour, guest travel through the Angkor complex north to the small town of Anlong Veng, 130 km north of Siem Reap. The beautiful Dangrek escarpment, 16kms further and part of the Dangrek mountain range, provides a natural border between Thailand and Cambodia. This town and area was the last stronghold of the Khmer Rouge. Enjoy an excellent lunch in the town before driving up the escarpment. Pol Pot lived here during his last years and died in his jungle hide out on the mountain in 1998. Tour of the mountain, Pol Pots grave and bunker and the remains of the house he was tried in, visit with local people, dinner and over night in a spectacular mountain camp in comfortable bungalows.

Following a hearty breakfast and a tour of Ta Mok’s villa in the town, continue east to Preah Vihear temple, a stunning temple located on a mountaintop, overlooking Thailand and Cambodia. Day 1: Phnom Penh –Arrival (L/D)
Upon arrival at the Phnom Penh International Airport, we will get transferred to the hotel. Then we have a city tour: visiting the only one hill in town with sacred sites called Wat Phnom, and to the Independent Monument. After the lunch break at a restaurant, in the afternoon, we visit Royal Palace, one of the most beautiful samples of Khmer palace, which allows us to visit the precious Throne Hall, Prasat Khemarin, Prasat Samren Phirum, Hor Preah Khan, Chan Chhaya, and Silver Pagoda where the king regularly does the warship. Then we move to the nearby National Museum where is collective of post-Ankorian antiques. Then we go through the River Front Park whose scenery is much worth shooting before experiencing the exciting boat cruise along the Mekong River bank to see the lovely Phnom Penh city at night with breathtaking view along the river. At the end of the day, we will have dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 2: Phnom Penh – Mondolkiri (B/L/D)
After the breakfast at the hotel, we depart to Mondolkiri Province, the province that is best known for its forest and pleasant waterfalls. It is a real natural tourism of the country. After having lunch along the way, we head to a very big local pine field for relaxation, where the scenery is beautiful and abundant, shaped by landscapes of lush green forests, jungles, and agricultural fields. The trip will arrive Mondolkiri around night that will be time for our breathtaking dinner. Overnight in Mondolkiri.

Day 3: Mondolkiri – Rumonea Waterfall (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we will visit an ethnics’ village where we will feel welcomed from the tribal people there and stunned by their absolute distinction of culture. After lunch, we visit Rumonea Waterfall, which is one of the country’s finest waterfalls with convenient swimming holes. There we can enjoy either swimming or shooting the breathtaking scenery, awaiting for the sunset. Then we will back to town for dinner.

Day 4: Mondolkiri – Bousra Waterfall (B/L/D)
After the breakfast, we will visit Bousra Waterfall, the most famous waterfall of Cambodia best known for its naturally large size. We then back to see the traditional dancing at Ethnics’ Village and have a look at sunset before the dinner in town.

It is a real natural tourism in short. Arriving at the airport of Barn Lung Town around lunch time, we will be accommodated to the hotel for lunch. Next, it is time to take the elephant trek in the jungle to view the real environmental sight. Then we visit many waterfalls like Cha-Oong, Katieng, especially Yak Laom Lake, which is a historical, magical, and mysterious lake perfect for swimming due to its clear water with visibility of up to 5m (Yak Laom Lake is believed to have been formed 700,000 years ago) Next, we are going to experience the beautiful sunset at Phnom Svay Pagoda and back to town for dinner.

There we will have a walk to witness the real uncommon natural resources, with stunning scenery, shaped by landscapes of dense forests. Transfer to Pochentong Airport after breakfast for the morning flight to Siem Reap. Alternatively take the new speed boats to Siem Reap leaving Phnom Penh at 08:00 and arriving in Siem Reap around 12:30. Siem Reap is the base for exploring the fabled temples of Angkor, the ancient capital of the Khmer empire. On arrival begin a tour of the temples that includes the early-Angkor era temples of the Roluos Group - Preah Ko, Ba Kong and Lo Lei. In the afternoon continue to Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei, Chau Say Tevoda, Thommanon, and the fabulous Ta Prohm Temple, embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers.
